During the Covid shutdown of our facilities we have the opportunity to try some online sessions. For the adults and older / more experienced juniors there are Zoom sessions being conducted by County coach James Elkin. These occur each weekday and alternate strength and cardio sessions (contact James for free access to his sessions using the email address given in distribution to our members). For our younger and beginner players we have set up Zoom sessions at 10am on Sundays, please contact Mark Marsh if you are interested.

Our Partnership with Badminton School
St Ursula's Junior and Senior Clubs have agreed a partnership with Badminton School to provide coaching within the school and access to the club for school pupils. The new school sports hall is now the venue for all club junior and senior sessions and matches.
The school partnership is acknowledged and promoted on the Badminton School website linked to the logo below.

Inclusive junior badminton session
Helen successfully completed her Level 2 coaching course on 1 September. The senior club now has coaches qualified at Level 2 and the junior club has 4 Level 2 coaches and 1 Level 1 coach.

St Ursulas Badminton club was formed in the 1990s by Roy Niblett, providing access to club badminton for a wide range of people in the Henleaze and North Bristol area.
The range and diversity of players has been a feature of the club which currently has teams in the Bristol leagues and runs a thriving junior section which plays in the under 10, under 12, under 14, under 16, under 18, under 14 Girls and under 18 Girls club leagues.

Play is with feather shuttles on 4 courts on Wednesday evenings 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
